Our visa journey

Waiting is one of the hardest thing to do. You never know when you will be able to get out of that sickening scene. It makes you think if the journey will push through or it will just stuck there.

We filed last November 2008 for an Immigrant Visa - since we got married here in my beloved country, Phils. As my husband went back to his land of USA - it took 8 months for us to finally file a petition. We've been in the middle of questions without a concrete answers because of our complicated situation. But now, finally our papers is now being processed by a very demanding department - USCIS!

Currently, we are waiting for our NOA2. The other day we got this RFE letter regarding with the passport and birth certificate of my husband because we only submitted his birth certificate issued by the hospital where he was born and USCIS wants a registered copy to prove that my hubby is a USC.

I've been so worried about RFE's because it will cause the papers to be delayed... Good thing, tomorrow my husband will be getting his certified true copy of his birth certificate from their local health department and we will be submitting a copy of his passport together with his BC.

I hope after we submit this RFE docs to USCIS, we can get an approval from them....

Lord, bless our visa journey in Jesus name!
